The closed-loop management system of product quality is a distinctive feature of «Pechatnya. Printing solutions.» - closed system of quality control of products. The technological cycle consists of five steps: prepress, printing, post-printing processing, cutting, gluing and packaging. Human factor issues have been solved by automated control systems monitoring the first two operations. These systems guarantee the finest quality for the manufactured products.
PREPRESS QUALITY CONTROL: DENSITRONIC PDF
PDF-Reader compares a PDF-File approved by the customer with the first printed sheet. The computer detects inconsistencies, voids, ink stains, tinting and other extra or missing items on the printed sheet.
PROCESS QUALITY CONTROL:: ERGO TRONIC CONTROL И QUALITRONIC PROFESSIONAL
Ergo Tronic Color Control - provides color combination and pre-press quality control. Qualitronic Professional, equipped with a state-of-the-art camera, checks all changes in the color tone at the printing speed of 18,000 sheets per hour. The system measures changes and displays the results on a large screen, it automatically fixes errors in accordance with the pre-set requirements, marks sheets containing inconsistencies and generates a report once the print run is finished.
POSTPRESS QUALITY CONTROL: ACCUCHECK MODULES
Currently PECHATNYA uses two Accucheck quality control systems. They are installed inline in folding-gluing machines ExpertFold50A2 and new ExpertFold 80A. Accucheck scans an unfolded package and compares it against a given sample. Color matching is determined through measuring the E delta in the areas chosen for proofreading by the operator. Once even a minor deviation in color is noticed, a box is discarded. Boxes are also rejected if any inconsistency in other parameters like design, text match, pattern superimposition, quality of printing and embossing (no spots, scratches, mottles, low areas) etc. is found. It is important to note that once a box is rejected it can’t be used any more since it is deformed.
